- "Neel Stallings has been a passionate volunteer for Susan G. Komen for the Cure® for many years.
She designed and facilitated leadership training for our volunteers from around the country, consistently
receiving excellent evaluations. She represented Komen as one of 25 USA delegates and one of four workshop
facilitators at the 2007 Global Advocate Summit in Budapest, Hungary. Most recently, we were proud to have her
as a panelist at the first Middle East/North Africa Breast Cancer Advocacy Conference in Amman, Jordan.
Presently, we are working with Neel to expand Scouting for the Cure™ nationally and internationally.
This program, created by Neel and her sister, teaches Girl Scouts and their families about breast health
awareness. Neel’s skills, talents, vision and leadership make her a valued partner as we work for a world
without breast cancer."
Hala Moddelmog, President and Chief Executive Officer, Susan G. Komen for the Cure
- "When Neel was elected to be on Stephens College’s Alumnae Association Board, I had no idea that this
dynamic woman would do so much for us. She does a terrific job working with our students, helping them in
all the specifics of the job search and how to present oneself. But her real magic lies in how she empowers
them, transforms them from students to leaders and professionals, drives them to find their strengths and
their gifts. Neel's impact on these students is, quite simply, amazing."
Wendy B. Libby, Ph.D.,
President, Stephens College,
Columbia, MO (July 2003 - June 2009)
- “Neel is first-class -- as a person, as a trainer and as an advocate. Her professional abilities as
a trainer/facilitator/consultant are proven in the workshop setting and within the corporate organization.
As a person, Neel is warm, engaging, supportive, witty. To know Neel is to know genuine grace and keen
professionalism in all regards. I always enjoyed working with Neel -- whether training or just brainstorming
creative ideas. She's GOOD!”
Marty Jones, Master Trainer/Facilitator, The Training Consultancy
- “Neel is an example of what it means to lead with passion. As a Learning Strategist at Wachovia Corporation,
she helped to launch the direction of the distance learning program. Her comfort with taking risks with new
technology set the stage for others to follow in her footsteps. Her contagious energy creates an atmosphere
that invites others to be a part of her mission. As a leader with the Komen Foundation, she blazed paths
globally. Neel is an incredible visionary with the gift of embracing others in her journey. I would welcome
the opportunity to partner with Neel in the future.”
Sherry Latten, President, Latten & Associates,Inc.
- “Neel is one of the brightest, most delightful and inspirational people I know. Every time I talk to her I feel energized
and creative. She cares passionately about everything she does, and it shows. She's a strong leader and motivator
of people who could do a lot of things in life and be successful. I'd love to work with her in any capacity ---
as a Learning and Development professional, a client/partner, a coach or project leader. You're lucky if you get
to know Neel.”
Phyllis Roteman, President, The Loyalty Group, Inc.
- "Neel Stallings is a valuable partner with Girl Scouts Hornets’ Nest Council. She and her sister co-founded
Scouting for the Cure™ (SFTC) and have reached thousands of Girl Scouts, their families and their friends to
educate them about breast health. One of our troop leaders who attended SFTC attributes this program to
saving her life after she found a malignant lump in her breast. As an Advisor to two Senior Girl Scouts who
are working towards their Gold Award (highest award in Girl Scouts), Neel is making a difference in their lives
as she teaches them leadership skills. I am proud to know Neel and to have her as part of our Girl Scout team.
She is making a huge impact."
Sally Daley, Chief Executive Officer, Girl Scouts Hornets’ Nest Council
- "Neel is a highly experienced trainer, facilitator, motivator and coach with strong interpersonal and leadership
skills and over 20 years of experience working in all aspects of human resources. I have worked personally with
Neel on a number of projects. She has graciously donated her time to many worthy causes, including her alma mater
Stephens College. There I have witnessed Neel in action as she led a diverse group of over 40 current and former Alumnae
Board members through a series of individual and team building exercises that Neel designed to help the participants uncover
and develop their leadership styles. She conceived of and facilitated the leadership development section of the conference that
I attended and helped me to uncover my own interests and strengths. Moreover, Neel has developed a resume-writing and
interviewing workshop that she regularly leads for over a hundred students at the College each year. Neel understands the
corporate environment and what it takes to succeed, yet also appreciates and cultivates the skills and unique talents that
each individual brings to an organization whether large or small. She understands the career aspirations of those students
just as she understands the coaching needs and career dynamics of more senior, experienced executives. Don’t miss the opportunity
to work with Neel if you have the chance. I’m sure you will benefit from it as have I."
